Annual Executive Meet

The Annual Executive Meet was held at  Fortune Inn Grazia, NOIDA on April 29, 2019. The event began with the presentation of the Single Page Strategy for the year 2019-20 by Mr Anil Bali, Vice President. He emphasised that Deki will focus on being a company that makes India proud. He also presented highlights and lowlights of the business and Deki’s journey 1984 to 2019 and beyond. Mr Bali gave an insight into the world's DC film capacitor market and opportunities for Deki. He said that Deki will focus on TPM activities in the coming years and ensure Zero Customer Complaints, Zero Losses, Zero Accidents, and Zero Lot Rejection through greater involvement of the employees.

 Mr P Shanker Raj, Vice President - Technical made his presentation on technological developments and changes in the capacitor industry. He reiterated that, at Deki, we have to upgrade our technology for new segment as well as ensure excellent product quality. He also explained the requirement of ownership of process people based on TPM.

All HODs and the Retail Marketing Head made presentation on their departmental activities and targets during the last year as well as plan for 2019-20.

 The Manufacturing Head spoke about the IOT and Industry 4.0 concepts and implementation status of IOT in some of the processes.

 The HR Head made a presentation on the HR trends for 2019-20 and highlighted the areas where industries would focus during the year.

 Finally, Mr Vinod Sharma, Managing Director, explained the VUCA principle - volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity nature of the business. He gave insights into new business trends and dimensions and urged all the executives to respect people, values and ethics of the organisation. He stressed the need to focus on achieving our targets of quality, customer delight and business growth.

 Eighty nine executives attended this meet, shared their thoughts, learnt new ideas and enjoyed. New executives expressed their experience with Deki and its culture.
